Preamble
We, the members of El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International Church, do hereby adopt the following Constitution and Bylaws for the purpose of preserving the principles of our faith, protecting the liberties of each individual member, ensuring the freedom of action of this body, and providing for the orderly conduct of internal affairs.
Article I � Name
This church shall be known as El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International Church, incorporated under The Non-Profit Corporations Act on the 17th day of January, 2018.
The name "El-Shaddai" means "God Almighty" � the all-sufficient God who is more than enough.
Article II � Purpose
The purpose of El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International is to help people find and follow Jesus Christ by advancing the course of Jesus Christ and to the adherents of the faith through the preaching and teaching of the gospel.
We are committed to engaging in Christian ministry in our community, our country, and around the world through the missionary and relief agencies of our denomination and other agencies that from time to time we agree to support.
Article III � Government
The government of this church is vested in the body of believers who are adherents, owing allegiance only to its head and founder, the Lord Jesus Christ. The congregation shall always retain its right of self-government.
This church is not subject to the control of any other ecclesiastical body, but it recognizes and sustains the obligations of mutual counsel and co-operation which are common among churches of like faith and practice.
Section 3.1 � Equality of Members
All members are regarded as having equal rank and privilege as well as equal responsibility and obligation in fulfilling the purpose of this church.
Section 3.2 � Officers
The officers of this church shall be a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor(s), Secretary, Treasurer, and such other officers as the church may deem necessary. Officers shall be elected by the congregation at the annual general meeting.
Section 3.3 � The Board
The Board shall consist of the Senior Pastor (who shall serve as Chairman), and elected board members. The Board shall have general oversight of the business and properties of the church, subject to the direction and approval of the congregation.
Article IV � Membership
Section 4.1 � Qualification
Membership in El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International is open to all who give evidence of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and who voluntarily hold to the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith.
When a person chooses to be a part of our church and involves themselves, they are considered a member � one who attends regularly, serves, and contributes to the life of the church.
Section 4.2 � Rights and Privileges
Every member is entitled to vote in all elections and on all questions submitted to the church at regular or special meetings. New members are expected to participate in our new membership orientation program.
Section 4.3 � Discipline
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the teachings of Scripture. The church shall follow the biblical pattern of discipline as outlined in Matthew 18:15-17, always with the goal of restoration.
Article V � Meetings
Section 5.1 � Regular Services
The church shall hold regular services for worship, prayer, and Bible study. The schedule of services shall be determined by the Pastor in consultation with the Board.
Section 5.2 � Annual General Meeting
An Annual General Meeting of the church shall be held at such time and place as the Board shall determine, for the purpose of hearing reports, electing officers, and transacting other business as may properly come before the meeting.
Section 5.3 � Special Meetings
Special meetings of the church may be called by the Pastor, the Board, or by written petition of not less than one-third of the active membership.
Article VI � Ministry
Section 6.1 � The Senior Pastor
The Senior Pastor shall be the spiritual leader of the church, responsible for providing oversight of all church ministries, the preaching and teaching ministry, and the overall spiritual direction of the church.
Section 6.2 � Ordained Ministry
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the evangelization of the world and the edifying of the body of Christ. The church shall recognize and ordain ministers in accordance with the Scriptures.
Article VII � Finances
Section 7.1 � Method of Support
The expenses of this church are met by the voluntary tithes and offerings of each member and adherent. Regular offerings are received for both current expenditures and missionary purposes.
Section 7.2 � Special Offerings
Special offerings may be taken for charitable purposes upon approval by the Board. All funds shall be managed with transparency and accountability.
Section 7.3 � Financial Accountability
The Treasurer shall keep an accurate record of all financial transactions. Financial statements shall be presented at the Annual General Meeting. An audit of the financial records may be conducted as directed by the Board or the congregation.
Article VIII � Doctrinal Statement

Article IX � Amendments
This Constitution and Bylaws may be amended at any regular or special meeting of the church by a two-thirds vote of the active membership present and voting, provided that the proposed amendments have been presented in writing at a previous meeting and that due notice has been given to the membership.
