Our Mission
The purpose of El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International is to help people find and follow Jesus Christ by advancing the course of Jesus Christ and to the adherents of the faith through the preaching and teaching of the gospel.
We are committed to engaging in Christian ministry in our community, our country, and around the world through the missionary and relief agencies of our denomination and other agencies that from time to time we agree to support.
Our History
El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International Church was incorporated under The Non-Profit Corporations Act on the 17th day of January, 2018. We are a registered charity in Canada (Registration No. 726906084RR0001). View our public profile on CharityData.ca.
Since our founding, we have been dedicated to building a community of believers who are passionate about worship, prayer, and advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our name, "El-Shaddai," means "God Almighty" — the all-sufficient God who is more than enough. We believe that through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, miracles happen and lives are transformed.
Preamble
Our Constitution and Bylaws are made to:
- Preserve and secure the principles of our faith.
- Preserve the liberties of each individual member of the church.
- Ensure freedom of action and independence from any religious body or organization.
- Provide for orderly conduct of internal affairs, in dealing with others, and of governing church members.
Our Values
Faith-Centered Worship
We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. Every service, every ministry, and every decision is rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit.
Community & Fellowship
We believe that the church is the body of Christ and that every believer is an integral part. We are committed to fostering a community where members care for one another, grow together, and serve together.
Evangelism & Missions
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the evangelization of the world. We are dedicated to sharing the gospel both locally and globally through the missionary and relief agencies of our denomination and other agencies that we agree to support.
Prayer & Intercession
We believe in the power of corporate and individual prayer. Through persistent, faith-filled prayer, we stand in the gap for our community, our nation, and the world.
Church Governance
The government of this church is vested in the body of believers who are adherents, owing allegiance only to its head and founder, the Lord Jesus Christ. Persons duly received by the members shall constitute the membership. These members are individuals who have in common their spiritual union with the Lord Jesus Christ and their agreement on the principles of faith contained in our Constitution.
All members, so bound together, regard one another as having equal rank and privilege as well as equal responsibility and obligation in fulfilling the purpose of this church. All internal or external groups created and empowered by the church shall report to and be accountable only to the church. At the same time, this body recognizes the rightful place of the state and pledges itself to the support of federal, state, and local governments in accordance with Romans 13:1-7 and 1 Peter 2:13-17.
Officers & Leadership
The officers of El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International shall consist of a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. The Pastor shall be considered the President of the Society and the recognized head — the Vision Bearer — who exercises general oversight of the entire work of the church. He shall hold this office until his death or until he resigns.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors shall have full control and management of the affairs of the Society. Directors shall be appointed by the Pastor and ratified by the Elders. There shall not be less than three (3) and no more than nine (9) officers (directors) at any time. Any three members shall constitute a quorum.
Board of Elders
The Board of Elders shall be appointed by the Pastor. There shall not be less than three (3) and no more than nine (9). They are called upon to fill the pulpit, pray for the sick, visit newcomers, shut-ins, absentees, and conduct hospital visitation. Along with the Pastor, they seek God's direction for the church and support the Pastor in the vision given him by God.
Board of Deacons
The Pastor and/or Board of Elders shall appoint the Board of Deacons. There shall never be less than four members. They shall act in conjunction with and to aid the Pastor in all matters of the church, and shall act in the determination of meeting the material needs (food, clothing, financial, etc.) of anyone who might seem to be in need, whether they are a part of the Church or not.
Membership
Membership in El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International is open to all who give evidence of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and who voluntarily hold to the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. This church is comprised of persons who profess a personal faith and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, have received baptism in a church according to the New Testament, and actively follow the Lord Jesus Christ in discipleship.
When a person chooses to be a part of El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International and involves themselves, they are automatically considered a member — one who attends regularly, serves, and contributes financially to the church.
New church members will be expected to participate in the church's new membership orientation program. Every member is entitled to vote in all elections and on all questions submitted to the church at regular or special meetings, provided the member is present. Voting by proxy is not permitted.
Church Meetings
Worship Services
The church meets regularly each Sunday morning for the worship of God — featuring preaching, instruction, and evangelism — and on Wednesday evening for prayer and Bible study. These meetings are open to all.
Annual Meeting
There shall be an Annual Meeting held on or before the second week of December each year (end of fiscal year). New officers, elders, and deacons shall be installed, and all reports shall be read at the Annual Meeting.
General Meetings
General meetings are held on the last Saturday of every month. The agenda is circulated or made known to the church two weeks prior to the general meeting.
Non-Profit Clause
El-Shaddai Miracle Centre International Church shall be carried on without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or other gains to the organization shall be used in promoting its objectives.
Method of Support
The expenses of this church are met by the voluntary tithes and offerings of each member and adherent. Regular offerings are received for both current expenditures and missionary purposes. Special offerings may be taken for charitable purposes upon approval by the Board.
Church Discipline
Should any unhappy difference arise among members, the aggrieved member shall follow, in a tender spirit, the rules given by our Lord in Matthew 18:15-17. Should any case of gross breach of relationship or public scandal occur, the deacons shall endeavor to resolve the conflict. All such proceedings shall be pervaded by a spirit of Christian kindness and forbearance.
Any person whose membership has been terminated for any offense may be restored by vote of the church, upon evidence of repentance and reformation.
